Palau is an isolated archipelago of over 300 uplifted limestone islands, located 500 miles from the nearest major land mass.  Known as the jewel of Micronesia, this distant super-atoll boasts over 700 species of coral, 1500 species of fish, an uncountable number of pristine beaches, and a 4000 year old culture composed of the world’s friendliest people.

Palau’s seas are teaming with turtles, dolphins, dugongs, stingrays, sharks, and mega-schools of fish earning the appellation, “The Underwater Serengeti of Planet Earth.” A conservation minded community has protected this fragile marine paradise from development and exploitation and has set aside numerous marine reserves, no fishing zones, and protected area networks.  As a result Palau boasts the world’s best tropical paddling, world class snorkeling, pristine camping, amazing beach combing, and once in a lifetime scenery.

Palau is the Eastern-most archipelago within the Micronesian Islands.  Koror, Palau is located approximately 500 due North of Papua New Guinea and 500 miles due East of the Philippine Islands.  The Republic of Palau has been an independent country since declaring it’s independence from the United States on October 1st, 1994.  The currency is still the US dollar and the zip code is technically still a US address.

Direct flights to Palau can be booked from Manila, Guam, Taipei, Narita,  Korea & Tokyo.  The most common route to Palau from the US is via Hawaii and Guam.  Tickets can be booked online through
